According to Xiaomi’s official Weibo page, the Civi 2 also has a pill-shaped cutout at its top middle which is reminiscent of the iPhone 14 Pro series which houses dual front-facing cameras. Both cameras are 32MP with one being an f/2.0 main camera and the other an ultra-wide camera with a 100-degree field of view.

Rumours are rife that the Xiaomi CIVI 2 will feature a 6.56-inch AMOLED screen, which offers an FHD+ resolution and up to a 120Hz refresh rate.

The device will run on the Android 12 OS with MIUI 13 on top. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 mobile platform and up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM.

The CIVI 2 will offer up to 256GB of native storage. It will house a 4,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. The rear camera setup of the device will feature a 50-megapixel primary camera.

With OIS support, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro snapper. As mentioned above, the CIVI 2 has 32-megapixel + 32-megapixel dual front-facing cameras.

The device is also relatively thin and light at 7.23mm and 171.8g respectively. Besides that, the Civi 2 comes in four different colour options, namely black, blue, pink and white. Moreover, there’s also a special Hello Kitty edition.

In China, the Civi 2 is priced at CNY2399 or ~RM1546 for the 8/128GB variant, CNY2499 or ~RM1612 for the 8/256GB configuration and CNY2799 or ~RM1805 for the top-of-the-line 12/256GB model. As of the time of writing, Xiaomi has yet to reveal availability for the device outside of China, though it is likely to be renamed for the global market.

Reliable tipster Kacper Skrzypek has claimed that the Xiaomi CIVI 2 may be released in the global market. However, it is likely to arrive with a different marketing name. Hopefully, the rumour mill will spill more information on its global release in the coming weeks.
